The Dilworth Community Development Association has been acting on behalf of Dilworth residents for the common good of the neighborhood since the late 1960's---it is the vigilant efforts of our friends and neighbors which help assure Dilworth's spirit and splendor will be passed to the next generation of those who will call Dilworth home.

Dilworth Community Development Association (DCDA)

WHAT:

The Dilworth Community Development Association has been acting on behalf of Dilworth residents for the common good of the neighborhood since the late 1960's. The DCDA Board is comprised of 5 Officers and 18 Board members; it provides leadership, but the involvement of all Dilworth residents is vital to making Dilworth the best place to live in Charlotte!

Monthly Board meetings are open, and all are encouraged to attend.

WHEN:

The DCDA meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

WHERE:

The Tom Sykes Recreation Center at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Park Avenue (map it). Enter the door to the lower level of the new building under the archway that connects the two main buildings.

WHY:

Attending a meeting is an excellent way to get involved and learn what is happening in both Dilworth and the surrounding neighborhoods, including the vibrant, historic South End. Opportunities for participation include serving on one of the DCDA committees or otherwise getting involved with one of many ongoing DCDA projects.
